Black Belt Validation

The SMA now offers validation certificates complementary to your black belt certificate. This confirms that your black belt certificate has been assessed by a recognised educational/professional organisation under its guidelines. A certificate from the SMA is the first step to entering a recognised field as a martial arts professional. A certificate from the SMA also helps you to receive discounts and pursue for a higher level of educational qualification in martial arts.

If you are interested, please e-mail us for an application form. You need to fill the form and provide us with three references and certified photocopies of your black belt certificate with a validation fee of £50.00.

Instructor's Certificate

We also offer valid, department of education recognised instructor's certificates to martial arts instructors at four levels. If you already hold such qualification or are in need of a valid instructors course, please inquire giving full details. Our instructor's course enables you to work independently, free from the politics of martial arts, whilst still being recognised as an educationally competent instructor.
